PRIVACY POLICY — "MAIL GROUPS" PLESK EXTENSION

This Privacy Policy explains what data the "Mail Groups" Plesk extension (the
"Software"), published by Ege Hosting (the "Vendor"), processes and transmits. It
covers only the Software itself, not the Plesk panel or your hosting provider.


1. SUMMARY

The Software runs entirely on your own Plesk server. It does not collect, store,
or transmit personal data to the Vendor, with the single, limited exception of an
optional version check described in section 3.


2. DATA PROCESSED LOCALLY (NEVER SENT TO THE VENDOR)

To do its job, the Software reads and writes the following on your server only:

- Distribution group addresses and their member/recipient email addresses, stored
  in a Postfix alias map on your server.
- Your Plesk domain list, read through the Plesk API to validate that a group
  address belongs to a domain hosted on the server.
- Your license key, if you enter one, stored in the extension's settings on your
  server.

All of the above stays on your server. It is never transmitted to the Vendor or
to any third party.


3. THE UPDATE CHECK (THE ONLY OUTBOUND CONNECTION)

3.1. To let you know when a newer version is available, the Software periodically
requests a small file (version.json) from the Vendor's server over HTTPS at
https://mailgroups.egehosting.com.

3.2. This request contains only what any standard HTTPS request contains (for
example, the connecting server's IP address and a user-agent string, as seen by
the web server). It does NOT send your license key, your group or member
addresses, your domain list, or any other personal or configuration data.

3.3. The response is used solely to compare version numbers and, if an update
exists, to show you the upgrade command. The Software never downloads or installs
anything automatically.

3.4. The version check is a convenience feature. If it cannot reach the Vendor's
server, the Software continues to work normally.


4. LICENSE VALIDATION

License keys are validated offline, on your server, using cryptographic
signature verification. Validating or entering a license key does not contact the
Vendor and sends no data anywhere.


5. DATA RETENTION

The Vendor does not receive or retain any personal data from the Software. Data
stored locally on your server (groups, members, license key) remains until you
delete a group, remove your key, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling the
extension removes the group data it created from your server.


6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As the operator of the Plesk server, you are the controller of the email
addresses you enter into distribution groups. You are responsible for having a
lawful basis to process those addresses under the privacy laws that apply to you.


7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is
published at https://mailgroups.egehosting.com/privacy and is included with each
release of the Software.
